The Super World

 The Super World

In the second half of the twenty-first century, the world was a generally happy and prosperous place although the nations of old had slowly decayed away into new blocs. These larger groups of nations were more balanced for resources and with that came a feeling of less want among the populations. Their governments over time became less and less democratic, instead using their increased wealth as a means to placate the people into caring little for how they were to be ruled. The alliances were still suspicious of one another and military tension stayed high. To prevent a general war which would disrupt the comfortable balance of power for the leaders of all of the nations, a Super Human program was begun by several of the largest and most technologically advanced groups.

The Super Humans

Drawing on the idea that people gravitate toward simple solutions to their own anxieties, it was decided to try and create a visible group of supermen to act as protectors and symbols of order and safety. The researchers were led by a group called the Designers who were of every scientific discipline. The genetic work was easier than expected as they found that using the deserted male Y chromosome as a start to attach recessive traits which would manifest themselves from birth proved economical and reliable. Their super bodies and brains were impressive, but they lacked the strength and durability needed to truly appear super.

The engineers added the needed component to make this happen. The men had to be attached to technology in order to have the ability to jump many stories, withstand harmful energy, and perform physical feats without tiring. From birth the supers were supplemented with complex wires put in their bodies along with powerful electronic devices which helped both allow their bodies to operate at maximum potential, but also interface with outside technologies.

This led to the production of the super suits. These were modeled after science fiction and popular culture ideas from times past. The suits were tight, bright, and distinct from super to super. They had different abilities to augment and protect the super wearing them. Each suit was unique to its wearer and in public, served the purpose of inspiring a willing population. Over the few decades the super program lasted, the suits became more and more sophisticated.

Since the program was only meant to be male at first, a fear arose from the leadership that the super males would start to reproduce. Numerous schemes were hatched to control this including trying to make the males homosexuals, not grow testicles, and be otherwise infertile. What became clear from the beginning was that fully functional sexual organs were the only way to give the males the natural drive and motivation to be supers. In return, while they were capable of nearly unlimited orgasms in a day, they could not emit any semen except by deliberate controlled medical procedures.

Adding Females

The concept of just embracing recessive traits on an otherwise useless male zygote was child’s play compared to creating a female super. These works of art had to be constructed in a laboratory as a one and done prospect because of the need to precisely match the more robust X chromosome. The process was so lengthy and expensive, and the Designers so dismissive of women, that it was accepted only as a means of pleasuring the male supers to keep them under control.

The female supers were vastly more capable than the males in both mental power as well as speed and reflexes. While comparatively few were made, they rapidly tried to redefine their role in super society to that of equals to the men. They were deliberately hampered by being given poorer technology super suits and interfaces to the males as well as not being promoted and supported to the public like the males. This led to deep conflict and resentment by the females toward the males, who treated them like play things.

Primal Supers and Beyond

The original rounds of supers were everything to everyone. They had positive genetic traits for super intelligence, endurance, speed, courage, and everything else that could be applied to them. This elite group became super from the moment they were conceived and exhibited super traits early in life. This made it necessary for them to be raised in a controlled environment to make sure they did not overuse their gifts in regular society. They were gradually integrated in later in their teen years after extensive training.

Over time, it became apparent that not only was there a better way to raise these supers by delaying their amplified abilities until at least puberty but it was also unnecessary to give every one of them the same full amount of genetic advantages. It also became apparent to military people that the process that was making the men better could be tailored to more lethal means. The Designers were put to work making mission specific models of the males with traits more appropriate for their needs. An additional benefit was these new models were more easily controlled than the Primals because they did not have all of the augmented senses and intelligence.

This led to a strange and unintended consequence. The supers were so popular in society that the wealthy began to demand access to super genes to have their own designer babies. This went to the point of allowing would-be parents to genetically tailor many of their male baby’s characteristics. The Designers had little use for this, but it was good politics and money could be made. In the modern world, several outbreaks of disease had slowly diminished the once normal male and female relationship to the point that men and women rarely procreated directly. The use of sperm banks for scheduled reproduction became a social norm. To be able to boast of your child being from a super lineage was an ultimate display of wealth. And, without the inherent neural network placed in their body at birth, these young men could never have true super abilities beyond looking the part.

The War

The females grew infuriated by the males always being supported by the government while they were treated poorly. The women started to do things during super actions to trick and humiliate the males in the public eye. The arrogant males escalated the conflict in kind until it became one of destructive proportions. Eventually, it became deadly. As society watched in horror, the male and female supers became violent adversaries and rather than acting on societal protectors they all but ignored the average citizen as they destroyed everything around them.

People still had their heroes though, and even as the war raged, loyal citizens supported their preferred super. This led to bitter rivalries in society as super after super fell in their petty battles. Since the males were by far the more visible and well-known supers, their death generally made more and more people bitter at the females. Eventually, a man-woman divide emerged around the globe over the super conflict.

Finally, the governments of the world decided the process had gone too far and needed to be halted. The laboratories were shut down, super fighting was met with military force, and the supers were declared unwelcome in almost every major city. This did not deter the supers who were willing to continue to fight to avenge their losses and had developed an utter disdain for typical human beings.

Only once the government of the United States deployed its first ‘kill team’ (a cyborg controlled by a human) did the Supers comprehend they needed to acknowledge if not surrender to the civilian authorities. At first they ignored the kill teams but once a male and female super were caught unawares during a battle, they were shredded to pieces by the quick-firing guns of a kill team. After this they agreed to talk.

The Truce and the Administration

Across the globe, supers were summoned to parlay with national governments. The governments had already decided that a global system for tracking and locating supers by their implants was going to be required. They could not get the supers to stop their fighting and a system was devised that in most regions was deemed acceptable.

A neutral, artificially intelligent group of sealed government computers called the Administration was being set up to track supers. Since they could not be moved off of their hatred of one another, a system of controlled killing was set up. The Administration would randomly pick a male and female super and dispatch them to a location to fight to the death. The authorities liked the idea because it thinned the ranks of the supers they could not control, and the supers liked it because they could continue to fight.

Any super who declined their duel was declared rogue. Such a super would soon be apprehended and the sentence for violating the truce was death. After several months it became obvious the females had far outpaced the males in skill, speed, and cruelty and the duels were purely one-sided. In some areas this led to a modification of the dueling system to a tribute system where the selected male was merely put into female servitude. This system proved durable but could not last as the males were tired of losing and the females had bigger plans for regaining their place at the top of human society. 

The Designers

The male project was dismantled but many of the designers were allowed to quietly leave into a forced retirement. This was not always a happy ending though as many of them were killed off by rogue supers or agents of a government wishing to keep them silent. When the prospect of using super technologies for military purposes without the supers became apparent, the remaining designers were given access to secret laboratory space. The chief among the Designers was a man named Alan. He had set up shop at a fortified police headquarters in Canada under the patronage of a ranking officer known only as the Inspector.

The Inspector was far more than a police officer and had significant access and governmental powers. He pretended to be a bureaucrat but was intimately involved in Alan’s work. The cover story was simple, Alan was unknown publicly and he quietly gave the Canadian security forces advanced technology for the exo-suits the officers wore and the machines they used. Over time, Alan had rebuilt the engineering part of the super program although he did not have many actual super males to assist him. His engineering was second to none and his initial program was to build super technologies for normal men. Once it became obvious that others were working in parallel to this end, Alan began to think bigger. His own security staff was comprised of volunteer soldiers who agreed to have neural nodes implanted in them to make them stronger and more capable. The plan was a success except the men were physically and mentally still typical humans and nowhere near as powerful as a super.

During this process, Alan connected the dots between his multiple projects and came up with an idea. He realized that the quantity of half-supers in the world was sufficient that he could attempt to use them to rebuild his super army, but he had no way to control them. He had one key component on his side, he could send signals to the men’s suits and to their neural nodes. The signals had no real purpose to him but he could in theory use them to shut down the supers, effectively killing them. This offered little help for what he was attempting.

Alan did not let his idea die while he continued his work on reproducing supers from the general population. He developed a way to weave a rudimentary neural network into tight fitting fabric. This gave the typicals with neural enhancements greater capabilities. It also gave Alan some ideas regarding the supers and their suits which he could also remotely influence if not outright control. As he worked on this project, the females he once considered colleagues intervened.

Colonel Shen was a donation from the Chinese military to the project when the female program was started. An engineer by training, she was not directly in control of much of the key components of the project. The females had realized that despite their combat superiority, their comparatively low numbers meant they were at a long term disadvantage to the males. Without the existence of half-super females they had to rely on willing typical females.

Typical females were capable fighters when trained properly and mercenary female groups were not hard to find and cultivate. They had a functioning intelligence network based on the females skills of blackmail and seduction that worked easily on the males. They did not have the capacity to build supersuits as advanced as the males and the knowledge of creating female control nodes was lost in the destruction of the program.

This led to a chemical solution being developed. Women were given discrete internal implants which could be filled with a powerful stimulant chemical. The contents were so powerful the women became almost as fast and clear of thought as a super for a brief period and as strong as one for up to several hours. The tradeoff was that the stimulants were ultimately draining to the body and recovery was needed after they were used. This was an acceptable problem to have but Shen hoped for better.

Colonel Shen was on a similar track to Alan in that she wanted to hinder the men from a distance by interfering with their neural networks or their supersuits. She fell back to her engineering training and hypothesized that sexual stimulation was the purest form of brain activity that could be potentially induced by an electromagnetic source. She needed to determine how to tailor this source so it could be used. Her theory, based on previous research, was that the supersuits the males wore applied neural impulses throughout their bodies in order to make them more ‘super’. If she could find a way to send a debilitating signal either through the suit or directly into the males neural network, she could interfere with him. Sex seemed a simple answer.

Shen, knowing super females could be tracked, hired mercenary females for the purpose of attempting to capture male supers. These supers were frequently hired as discrete security and police forces by local governments and seeing supers in public was not completely uncommon. This led to a series of traps laid for the males which had mixed success. Her intention was to capture a male super and over stimulate him sexually and see what the neural impulse he created looked like. Although the experience was fatal for the male super, it took several other attempts to isolate the signal she suspected would work. She needed a test subject.

Her hired mercenaries kidnapped a young man and used him as bait for a super male. When the unlucky super arrived, the women temporarily incapacitated him with stun darts. Although he was ultimately able to fight through them their purpose was to test her electronic weapon on him. As the super tried to recover from the stun weapons, the women attached a device to his genitals which immediately saturated him with the secret sexual signal. Although he fought through and drove them to retreat, his experience was ultimately fatal as his supersuit continued to push him to higher exertion including amplification of the sexual signal going to his brain. Shen was disappointed but felt she had proof of concept for her plan. The signal could kill a super or even a typical male, it just needed to be directly applied to him. She was confident she could convert it or a primitive neurological wavelength of equal strength into a ranged weapon to down the male supers.

Colonel Shen, after much investigation was able to locate the Chief Designer of the female program known as Doctor Russo. Russo was working in Singapore as a laboratory director at a teaching hospital and lived in deep cover. Singapore was both a good and bad choice for her. The city was loathe to engage in any anti-super policies as it had become a second home to supers during their greatest popularity. Remaining as a place of refuge for supers was considered to be good policy. This meant there was not much scrutiny of who came and went when it came to connections to the super program. It also meant there were plenty of male supers capable of harming Russo if they found her true identity.

Shen dispatched a female agent to retrieve Russo when she felt the time was right. Although the escape was narrow, Russo did successfully leave the country and meet up with Shen. As Russo looked over Shen’s work, she realized that the path she was on could never work. It was simply not possible to induce a sensory response in another person from a distance and expect it to have any real effect. She had been working on her own research program though and had a better idea.

Assimilation Conditioning

Russo found the use of drugs to augment the women to be too primitive for her tastes and the pleasure signal too impractical. She had worked on a vital part of the super program that involved using psychologically forcing information into the supers brains. The idea was complex, but with visual, audible, and sometimes tactile stimuli, the supers were exposed to various intense learning experiences. These usually involved hours in restraints while they were bombarded with information. The supers took to it well and it was highly successful at accelerating their learning capabilities.

Typical humans did not react well to it however. The overstimulation drove them mad and they rarely retained anything except for trauma from the experience. Russo was working on reducing the level of stimuli put into the program to be more acceptable to the weaker typical brain. What she found early on was that the most basic human functions could be forced into the brain in this way, but not higher learning.

Applying what she knew about the supers and how they adapted to their learning, she experimented on numerous subjects. Ultimately, her solution to the numerical inferiority of the female supers was to recruit males to be unwitting servants to their cause. Her training program, when applied to restrained males, shattered their understanding of the world and gave them a durable feeling of fear and subservience to women. Russo was disappointed to find that Shen had no males in her custody to test her theory. But, she guessed accurately that adding the feeling of sexual pleasure or torment to her male subjects would further enhance her control over any male she applied it to. After each experiment, she had a female give the male victim a natural sexual experience and this seemed to completely imprint her psychological manipulation in his mind. Russo immediately put Shen and her agents to work gathering male victims, but she would soon realize there was more work to be done.

The Wager

Doctor Russo had Shen’s people capture a male for her both to pleasure her and to try her new theory on. The man was precisely as she hoped and the process worked very well on him from the beginning. In the end, she was not only confident he was completely rewired to her purpose, she was deliberately sloppy enough to draw attention to him.

Alan’s team took the man into custody and to a secure location. When he arrived, the man showed him a series of numbers Russo insisted he give to a designer. When Alan saw the numbers he immediately knew what they were, a frequency from an out of date television transmission system.

Alan used this to contact Russo and it was clear from the beginning they had a warm and extensive personal connection. The two designers had a standing wager as to which could create the superior sex, and the intention was to prove it however long it took. The two shared little bits of information they had discovered in their years in hiding and it was decided the war could start again, albeit under different terms. In the end, their intention was purely to prove a scientific point and the fate of the men and women seemed of little concern to them. Alan committed to disabling the manipulations of the Administration to give them a freer hand with the supers and Russo agreed to neutralize any male security forces which might tilt the experiment.

Russo also admonished Alan that in her analysis of the supposedly typical male she found super DNA implying the donor his mother used was a super and she did not know it. Alan was genuinely surprised by this fact as the government had strictly controlled the access to super semen in order to keep a catalog of its dispersal into society. Russo did not seem alarmed by the vastly increased number of half supers this would lead to, as she considered them no more dangerous than regular men. Alan agreed to look into it, and accepted it was likely the male program who had seeded the banks.

During this conversation, Alan deliberately avoided any precautions and was aware he was being monitored by a cloaked super in his laboratory. When confronted by the super and the Inspector, Alan demonstrated just how far his understanding of them had come. When the cloaked super and another, Yukon, moved to arrest Alan they were immediately incapacitated. He had already decrypted how to interfere with their suits and how to directly interface with their neural networks. All he needed was something to do with that knowledge. From the recovered suit of the dead super the females left behind, he located the sexual pleasure impulse Shen had flooded the man with. The suit recorded everything about its wearer’s health up to the moment of death and that was all Alan needed.

During the confrontation, Alan at first sent a signal into the room that radiated through their suits to seize up the men’s most sensitive muscles. Then he tested his ability to interact with their neural networks directly and saw a seamless transition. He applied the sex impulse and left the two supers on the ground writhing and sweating as their male anatomy tried to rip free from their suits and they were incapacitated by unresolved pleasure.

When the supers were spent and compliant, Alan released them. He explained to them that the plan was to see which sex was to be the dominant one. The new war would be bigger than the supers and more subtle than their fighting with one another. He also explained that it was a reality that the women were capable of eventually doing to the men exactly what Alan just had. This was enough to make them realize the situation was bigger than just dealing with Alan.

The Nano-Network

The biggest problem that confronted Alan and his ambition to make typical men super was the neural network. It had to be grown from infanthood inside the super in order for the filaments to penetrate the necessary parts of the body. Alan had an expensive but effective solution. He gave the captured half super in his custody a dose of nanobots which painfully but effectively recreated a passable neural network inside his body. Absent his super brain, the man was effectively a super and could be integrated with a super suit, and for Alan’s purposes manipulated by his control devices. With this success, Alan was confident he could reproduce the results in other half supers and begin to augment their ranks with super capable men the government was not able to track. He needed more half supers for his experiments and he needed more male supers on his side to train them.

The Arms Dealer

Alan had competition in his weapon development business, mostly from a Russian arms merchant who was being funded to produce exosuits capable of making men super. This man, Dima, was cunning and charming and had an extensive network of criminal contacts and limitless financial resources. He was also able to keep supers on his payroll. He knew he had competition with Alan and a few others around the world but felt no need to rush into an expensive mistake. His style of business made him more likely to steal the finished product on his own and his handlers knew it.

As Dima, and his super assistant Red Storm, tried to quietly follow and collect a female super on her way to meet Doctor Russo, they were rocked by setbacks. First, the female they captured escaped. Then, in a daring act of violence, one of Shen’s mercenary teams brutally killed the nephew of one of the top Russian generals backing the project. This rattled the leaders and put immense pressure on Dima to get them the army of super soldiers they demanded. This meant showing some of his cards to Alan.

Noah, Lim, and Adrian Li

When the supers Dima hired to capture the female were redeployed to Singapore to find out what had happened there, they encountered two half supers named Noah and Lim. Both men were eager to help the supers any way they could. Despite their employment by Dima, they knew part of their mission was to wake up other male supers and get them organized. Singapore was so full of supers they took the chance that the two men might know one. They agreed they did after seeing a list of aliases and told the supers they knew Adrian Li. The supers advised the two they needed to have Li use social media to follow a company and he would be contacted. They agreed to do so.

Li did what Noah and Lim asked and followed the company. After a period of time he was visited in his gym by two more supers in plain clothes. They were under orders from Alan to gather up as many half supers as possible and get them to the United States to be converted to supers and trained by men like Li. They hatched a plan that Li was using his semi-celebrity fitness model status to do a series of workout videos and was bringing young talent with him. The two supers were the scouts responsible. Li was not happy about leaving his peaceful life but the challenge amused him enough to cooperate. Within weeks they had gathered their first batch of young men to bring with them for training.

Crash and the Secret Lab

Dima played a risky game and dispatched one of his cyber agents to the United States to track down Alan and negotiate a deal with him. What he could not have known was that the agent he sent, a young man nicknamed Crash, was something very special.

Crash worked for months to find a way to not only track down but to tempt Alan into a meeting. He was stronger, faster, and smarter than any human male and was able to first discover an Administration site and compromise it. From that, he began to track super duels and what he found was extraordinary. The duels he saw the Administration computer had scheduled suddenly rapidly increased in frequency. He attended the duels from afar and watched as the females generally defeated the men physically but allowed them to survive. After a few times of this he moved closer and realized the females were forcing the defeated males to conspire with them against the production of machines which would make regular humans equal to supers.

He also tracked a series of unexplained murders of local security officers around the country. He finally got a step ahead of the killer and could not believe what he saw. A super male, presumably of a later low quality breed was taken to a location by a super female and her apprentices. He was not in a super suit but regular clothes and controlled by an electronic restraint collar. The women removed the collar and gave him small daggers which he robotically used to stalk and then kill a tall security officer on the ground.

When the killing deed was over, the male super allowed the females to put the collar back on him. He dutifully returned the daggers to the female super and the other two females pleasured him at the scene before escorting him away. Crash waited for them to leave and retrieved evidence from the scene he felt would be necessary proof.

Crash exposed the Administration site he had compromised to the authorities and the Inspector sent a man to investigate. He was only given a little information, enough to tip off Alan of what was going on. When channels got the information to Alan he was able to interpret that duels were happening too frequently and the electronic results showed one after the other inconclusive. Alan resolved to visit a super he believed was represented by the serial numbers list on the roster given to him.

Before he could go, Crash paid him a visit. The two men quietly acknowledged they knew about each other’s operations and Crash agreed to tell him about all of the Administration sites in return for him giving Dima key technologies. Alan, after a period of contemplation, realized something was unique about Crash. Something that made his engineering secrets meaningless to him in return for something more valuable. He told Crash to tell his employer to meet him when he traveled. Crash also gained confidence in Alan’s understanding of the super world to reveal a more important secret to him.

The Breeding Facility

One of the facilities Crash put on the list for Alan was not an Administration facility but rather a female super lab. It was unique in that as the government dismantled the labs, this one the females fought violently to protect. No evidence of any reason for the violence was ever found and it was assumed the females simply chose not to give up their progress, despite the odds being against them.

Alan noticed Crash was too perfect to be any kind of typical human. His form, even when disguised by ill-fitted clothes, still looked ideal. Crash explained the facility they were referring to was actually a breeding facility run by the women to produce a very special form of male zygote that had all necessary traits on it. This was also engineered to make the men susceptible to female scent and presence and make them helplessly physically attracted to women.

The project was not just the women, it had short-sighted male supers backing it as well. They had no way to produce a sufficient population from their own numbers so they needed to produce more supers without the labs. The intention was to modify the human population with the new Y chromosome and a few mutations of it to make a population of perfect and perfectly subservient men. But, to make super females through breeding had a problem. It required two super X chromosomes because super traits were inherently recessive. This required complex medical procedures, or much more simply, a male sperm with a super X chromosome in it. This would require two generations.

The females bred their first generation of super males and used them as producers for their poisoned Y chromosome. They distributed them discretely to the various banks around the world in large numbers through unwitting ‘donors’ willing to pretend they had produced it. Crash was a unique male that was created as a super with both super chromosomes which was why he was so smart and so perfectly formed. He was a valuable commodity and survived the fighting only by accident. Crash assumed the other males they had produced for this purpose were likely still alive and kept somewhere to be milked for their precious seed.

The Thiefs and the Traitors

After Crash’s explanation, many things became apparent to Alan. First of them was that the supers themselves had gone far enough to declare themselves some sort of master race and not a construct of human society as he knew it. This alone enraged him, but it also made him understand why they were so threatened by the prospect of augmented humans being as superior as them.

Alan had also heard numerous stories of young males in their prime dying unexpectedly, usually during what appeared to be solo sexual acts. He knew this was not normal but had no idea why it was being done. With a few searches of recent archives, he realized that the male victims did not appear to have left any sign of a release behind after their death. This was not impossible but also seemed unlikely that a fit young male would have that problem. There was also a recent story he heard of about a young man who was seduced by a woman who incapacitated him with some device that completely drained him and left him unconscious. He survived to tell the tale and Alan dispatched a super to retrieve him immediately.

The females were collecting the product they had fought so hard to make from the population. But, since they put it in the system anonymously, they had no idea what males had their precious fluid. They were guessing, and without the ability to analyze on the spot, they realized that if they found a male producing what they needed, they were better off not killing him and using him later. So, they were developing means of extracting and saving what they needed from the men. The problem was the fragile and lazy special Y chromosome needed to be very fresh to be viable so the males had to be completely drained to get a useful product. This resulted in excessively stressful physical operations on them to release it, stressful enough to frequently cause death.

In addition to these deadly thieving women ambushing and tricking these unsuspecting men, there were male supers willing to sell out their cause to be part of the women’s likely winning team. The male supers, upon maturity, need to have one solid and complete sexual experience before they could think about anything else. In the primal supers, there was a belief that they should be allowed to pick their preferred female. It was meant to be a kind of reward for good behavior, no thought was given to what it would mean when the women rebelled against male dominance. The female supers trying to manipulate the world order realized they could use the male’s defenselessness against these particular females’ advances to persuade them to assist in the cause.

Ultimately, the males proved to be willing partners as their super egos made them even more resistant to the idea of being made equal to typicals. The women had to slightly evolve their strategy given the way supers, particular the powerful primal supers, were scattered and in hiding. But the tendency for these males to be hostile even to other males made Alan realize he was likely in danger. To this end, he and Crash collaborated on an elaborate scheme to serve the males their ultimate doom at the hands of the females if anything happened to him at their hands.

The Siren Effect

It was found that for some reason, many of the genetically enhanced males was susceptible to certain females. It was not clearly defined why some females had this effect on the males but when a man succumbed to it, he was almost certainly incapable of protecting himself from any hostile action or intention on her part. The males did not even realize when they had been effected by this and often a team of supers would find itself divided because one of the males had lost his willpower against the females. With each generation of male chromosomes this effect grew more and more pervasive and less controllable. Alan’s first nano-bot augmented super showed he could be immediately aroused by any number of typical females making him almost unusably fragile.

Female Resistance

Females did not usually express any super traits from just one super parent. The females created in the breeding facility were well cared for and distributed to sympathetic families all over the world. These fellow travelers have a cult-like loyalty to the female supers and a raging hatred of all males. They formed the core of a growing anti-male underground that focuses only on the destruction of males, be it their ego, their precious parts, or their reputation.

These females hardened their feelings against the males in society to the point they have focused on the security forces as the source of all male oppression. They have organized themselves into violent splinter groups that disperse into local populations for the purpose of fighting and emasculating the police and military forces there. Female supers have volunteered, at great peril, their superior powers to aid these groups when they campaign. In return, male supers have quietly assisted the security forces as they struggle to contain this threat.

The Supers Gather Forces

The supers have no direct hierarchy to go through, but each region was assigned a captain who maintained some semblance of structure for the supers in their area. They cannot track everyone’s new identities but they have access to information as needed. The females were more thoroughly blamed for the war and went deeper into hiding and have been reluctant to emerge, but the males have shown willingness to reappear in their costumes which has encouraged both sides to do so.

The super captains are attempting to organize a meeting to spread the word of the new developments as they know of them. Alan has no formal authority except as natural deference to their designers is wired into the super’s brains. He has decided the best way to get the males on his side is spread the word that the human male, super or not, is a generation away from oblivion with the females diabolical plot. He knows he will need more proof to convince them and has two loyal supers heading to the breeding facility to look for clears where the females have set up their operations.

The females for their part are resting on their advantage. Patience has worked well for them thus far and they are in no rush to make a precipitous move. Shen and Russo are deploying female supers as custodians of groups of males being brainwashed into servitude. A general bounty for potential male candidates has been put forth to female supers to find and assassinate male supers and capture good candidates for their program. This has led to them perform hostile takeovers of male owned or dominated sports teams, clubs and, businesses to get access to better specimens.

The female supers have taken pains not to involve Shen and Russo in their work. They are so paranoid about secrecy the fear any contact with typicals, even their designer puts their plan at risk at a critical moment. Pirating male bodies and coaxing male supers to their side still required secrecy.
