Super War Air Base

At an airport outside of the city of Chicago at an empty but still used secure military facility, two supers stood alone and silently waited. One was an Asian man dressed in a tight red and gold super suit. He had an aristocratic air about him and had clear disdain for his surroundings. The other was a densely muscled man in a black super suit with a sinister red fabric over the center of his body. His gloves and boots were edged in black metal and lined with blades protruding out. His suit had the appearance of armor and a technologically advanced looking texture to much of the fabric. Neither man looked at the other, as though their animosity was overwhelming them.

A heavily armed military transport landed on the pad a distance from them. The deafening engines barely made the two supers flinch and they watched impatiently as it landed and the engines spun down. When they did, the rear door opened.

Once the hatch was open, a tall man in a military uniform came out. He was clearly around forty but an air of worry and alarm made his mannerisms appear older. Behind him came out two powerfully built young men in highly advanced white and black armored uniforms. Each of them carried a long rifle and stood at the ready on either side of the hatch. The man approached the two supers impassively and without looking either in the eye.

“Prince Hyun, real name Cho Hyun Sung, self-styled descendent of a fictitious noble house. And Commander Arcadius, real name Hugh Sanchez, hero of a war he never fought in. Right?” The man approached them and eyed both the intimidating supers up without a hint of trepidation.

“Yea, who the fuck are you?” Arcadius asked with rage in his voice.

“My name is Alan, and I’m the caretaker of this fucking mess of a program that created you two.” The man replied and stopped close enough to talk quietly with both of them.

“I got a call that I needed to be here immediately. I didn’t fly all the way from Korea to be insulted by someone I’ve never heard of.” Hyun bit back.

“Yes, terrible spending three hours in a perfectly luxurious transport. I’ve been stuck trying to keep this program from falling into the wrong hands and keeping you men alive while you act like fools. Right now, some of you have royally fucked up and frankly I don’t know what else to do but risk exposing my identity so I can help you.”

“And what help is it that we need? And do we need to stand out here on this tarmac?” Hyun asked.

“Yes, you do because I can promise there are no devices here to locate you. And two of your colleagues along with a lot of help from the military just broke the truce with the women.” Alan was animated as he spoke.

“Where, who?” Arcadius asked.

“That’s an American truce, what does that have to do with me?” Hyun cut in.

“Really Hyun? So you haven’t had to negotiate with the women in your area to stop them from cutting your men’s cocks off? You think if there’s another war you can stay out of it?” Alan glared at Hyun who swallowed hard but did not reply.

“What happened?”

Alan explained to them about the ambush in New York and that the women kidnapped two of the male supers there.

“I get it, that’s not going to be good for us. But really, is it that dire?” Arcadius asked.

“You were the first two area leaders I could reach which is why I called you here. This is going to be a lot bigger than you think. I wouldn’t have risked my own safety if I didn’t have to.”

“Okay, start from the beginning, why is this different?”

Alan explained:

This program was started well before my time. I was only brought on in the last few years of it. But it was a plan to make super humans to fill a variety of roles in society. There was everything from altruism like heroes and guardians, some wanted to send you all to colonize Mars, some wanted to make men of a particular level of violence to rule the world. In the end, everyone got a little bit of their way.

Frankly, whether you realize this or not, none of you is really super. You have genetic modifications that were put into the DNA you were grown from. Mostly bits and pieces of animals to get desired traits, high strength, pain tolerance, endurance, superior vision and other things. When you were born, you were implanted with two coils of ultra-thin nanofibers, one near your brain stem and one at the base of your spine. As you grew, these fibers became part of your nervous system and brain. That’s why you were raised by agents as normal children, your identities were protected and you were trained to be super. Your native bodies were super in fact, just not as super as you are now. And you both remember in your mid-teens, when we removed your ‘tonsils’? Well, we did, we also put an active device inside you, a core if you will, and that linked with that network of wires and made your body capable of far more than the greatest human potential. Both physically and mentally.

You were pushed into society as watchers and sometimes enforcers but you had to do it without being an agent of any government. So you built your identities, decided on your costumes, picked the kind of skills your particular super body was best suited for and on and on. Hyun, you were an export, tailor made to order like thousands of others. And the program was good enough that we were left alone to our experiments.

Then came an idea that we could breed you and cut the project time and costs down to a fraction, but that required super women. So another team was set up separately to make them. Fools were selected to run it, and they tried to make women only as breeding stock and playthings for you males. But that was not feasible, you two are some of the original pure breeds we had, and I’m sorry to say you aren’t that superior to the others from normal surrogates. So, the value of females as supers became rapidly apparent and they were created in their own right for the same purpose.

Since they didn’t want any of you males breeding without permission, there was a stupid push to try and make you and raise you as homosexuals. But that was clearly not something science could create. And since you’re all walking around with probably an average of four times the testosterone as a normal male in his prime, you’ll fuck anything and anyone. Which is why right now the women have a huge edge on you.”

“Wait, I’m going to stop you there. Even if I believe you, what does this have to do with the women beating us so badly?” Arcadius interrupted Alan.

“How many hours a day don’t you guys have an erection? Just be honest.”

“Umm, I guess most of the time.” Hyun replied and looked down at his monster bulge.

“Yea, me too. That’s normal for us. You can see it on all the guys. So what?” Arcadius replied.

“And how many times a day do you masturbate and it still doesn’t go away? If you say less than six you’re lying.” Alan pressed.

“Yea, I get the point, we have super bodies that are super horny.” Hyun was impatient.

“And your super penises don’t exactly do what you might expect. But I digress. So for some reason, we thought giving a large group of immature young men and some women perfect minds, incalculable instincts and powerful bodies was a good idea. So eventually you arrogant perfect young people decided to start carving out your own space in society. Which of course led to the war with the women. When the public turned on you, the government had to step in. That’s when the truces, whatever form they took, became reality. Most of the time it was dueling, some had more novel solutions. Our Prince here is sacrificing his men one by one to be pleasure slaves to the females, which he knows is ultimately fatal to the men.”

“Really?” Arcadius looked at Hyun.

“You’re way isn’t saving anyone more than mine.” Hyun bit back.

“We weren’t officially allowed to exist, so our labs were dismantled, and most of our work destroyed. The females suffered the same fate but since their program was more advanced than ours, the destruction was more thorough.” Alan continued.

“Why does this put us into any more danger than we already are? Obviously we have to get in front of this thing with the females right away but nothing has changed. What do you want?” Arcadius asked impatiently and Hyun nodded in agreement.

“Two reasons. First, we didn’t create thousands of super men who could outthink and outfight anything we could throw at them without a backup plan…” Alan was cut off by a raise of Arcadius’s hand.

“What’s that mean?”

“That thing in your head, the way we track you, it theoretically can be manipulated with the right kind of electronic interference.” Alan stopped to let that sink in.

“What? So you can disable us?” Hyun was enraged.

“It almost came to that, and some of your predecessors destroyed the lab so it never went any further. I have no proof that it can work but it’s not impossible.”

“So, what aren’t you telling us?”

“There is a woman, my counterpart on the other program. Understandably, all of the men who were on the other side have been eradicated, including the lead scientists, but she is very brilliant. I believe she has been experimenting on such technology.”

“And is that why they are winning?” Hyun asked.

“No, it’s because you are more primitive than they are. The super capabilities we gave you also brought out the worst evolutionary traits. Impulsivity, vanity, sexual desire, all things that distract you. The women don’t have that. You are all at such a high level now, those things matter. But if they can access your network, you will all be at their mercy.”

“Can’t we do the same to them? You must know how to do it?”

“Sadly no, the female program was separate and it was built on our technology, so while it is functionally the same, the engineering is different. They have the advantage of knowing where to start and those of us left do not.”

“Alright so this is on the horizon maybe. What’s our second problem?” Arcadius was trembling with nerves.

“They have been developing a force of highly trained and highly dangerous women. They have perfected a drug that for short periods of time make their brains operate on a level similar to yours. One of them skewered one of your brothers last week.”

“So what? The supers are a much bigger problem.” Hyun dismissed him.

“No, they’re not. The agents inside the government looking to help you are willing to distribute untraceable scanners. You’ll know when the super women are coming. You won’t know when the others are. And I’m fairly certain they have a full database of all of your civilian identities.”

“As long as we know we can beat that too.” Hyun seemed more at ease.

“You also have a few advantages.”

“What are those?” Arcadius asked.

“For one you have numbers. We created many thousands of you. The female program only ran for a few years and was less productive. So you outnumber them by many times. You’re men will die in much higher numbers but you can overwhelm them.”

“And?”

“At the very beginning of all of this mess, it was fashionable to have so-called super babies. So super sperm was in high demand and there are many half supers out there who are approaching their prime right now. We have been tracking them down and recruiting them. They can be trained to help fight with you.”

“What? How? Why would they take that chance?” Arcadius was quivering with nerves.

“Oh the women know who they are too and will begin to exterminate them for sure. We assume their female recruits are from the same process although the official position was to only sell Y chromosomes but there is obviously always failures and corruption in any system. If you want to find these men, or track potential females, just follow social media and you can easily pick these men out.”

“But they’re missing that network you told us about. So they won’t stand a chance.”

“See those two over there?” Alan pointed to the two white armored guards.

“Yea.” They said in unison.

“Actually normal men, not even half supers, we didn’t let the program die, we let it go underground. Each of them has an implant like yours. Any elite loyal soldier or security officer you meet likely has one. And we’ve been doing the same for the would-be supers we have found. Look at them, they are built like you men are and it took a matter of months. I’d put them at about sixty percent of your capacity.”

“But you said that thing could be manipulated.” Hyun sounded grave.

“Alas, yes. So we may have made an enormous mistake.”

“Yea you did!” Arcadius shouted.

“I know. So for the future. You need to band your men together and spread the word. If I were you, I’d strike sooner than later but this can’t be an open war. I will get you the equipment you need if I can. Right now though, I would accept any demand they make. Buy some time, try to find and recruit some of your half-brothers. And under no circumstances trust any woman! We have no idea who the deadly ones are.”

“This is bad, but not the end. We can make this work together right?” Hyun extended his hand and Arcadius reluctantly took it.

“One more thing. Your suits, we still have the technology to make them, and they are far superior to the women. They don’t have any of the advances yours do including the ability to accelerate wound healing. There is a problem though, we recovered some bullet fragments from an attack in San Francisco, and they have cracked the code on some metallurgy that seems to be able to cut through the material, so don’t count on that to protect you from everything.” Alan told them and turned to walk.

“So what now? You can’t just walk away!” Hyun yelled.

“Yes, I can, I’ve been here too long. You know the story now, clean up your own mess.” Alan shouted as the engines started to roar on his transport and it took flight.
